We booked a transfer from the airport. It was well organised and the driver very friendly and helpful. We mentioned we would like to see the Naples v Man City match at the famous stadium. The driver immediately contacted Lisa Gargiulo at Golden Tours and she somehow, miraculously, with 3 days notice, got us tickets and a bus transfer to and from the stadium. She was SO helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. She made everything so relaxed and easy for us. It was our first professional football match and what a match to start with! My son is still talking about it.

We have just returned from Sorrento and did the trip with Golden Tours to Capri and Anacapri. Our guide was Pepe and we thought he was fantastic, he really knew his stuff and which route to take to avoid the crowds as much as possible. He was very well organised and informative and also very entertaining with his jokes! We had a great time seeing the wonderful sights of Capri and Anacapri with Pepe and would highly recommend this trip especially if you are lucky enough to have Pepe as your guide too. A thoroughly enjoyable day. July 2017

Myself and my daughter had a wonderful time thanks to your great staff and excursions. we booked 2 trips. One to pompei and vesuvio with Luka,excellent guide kept us well informed and guided us through a very busy pompei! We were so impressed we booked another trip, the Amalfi coast experience! It really could not have been better, well maybe the weather! our driver Max was wonderful and coped with the awful driving conditions with perfect calm. He was a delight. Rafaelle our guide was very information anf friendly. A truly perfect trip, I would not book with any one else!

We had a tour of Vesuvius and Pompeii with Josephine on Thursday August 18, 2016 and she was great. She was extremely knowledgeable!! She made Pompeii come to life with her explanation of the history. You can tell she loves her job!!

we were a group of 18 ladies staying in Sorrento. Manuela organised all our transport needs, from airport pickups to shuttle services. We had an amazing day visiting Pompeii and the Amalfi coast and our guide Lily was just lovely, so informative and a lot of fun. Antonio our driver was brilliant too, very careful on those bendy narrow roads. Would highly recommend this company to book all your transport.

Had a tour of Pompeii and Vesuvius with Fabrizio. He was wonderful! "Fab!" Highly knowledgable and attentive to the needs of the guests. Shared his enthusiasm for the sites and kept us interested. I would highly recommend both the tour and the guide!

We have just visited Pompeii and Erculano which was organised by our hotel with Golden Tours.
Our guide Christine was amazing; her knowledge and passion for the history of both sites was wonderful and I would recommend the tour to anyone. Ensure that you take comfortable walking shoes and a sun hat!
We had the option to take lunch halfway through the tour which we enjoyed and found to be excellent value.

We have just returned from a wonderful day trip to Herculaneum and Pompeii. The whole experience was interesting and enjoyable. We were collected on time from the bus station and at the end of the day dropped off at oir hotel which was a welcome surprise, particularly as we were very tired, having walked around all day.

Our guide, Luciano, was brilliant. He gave us a tremendous amount of information which was extremely easy to hear because of the radio transmitter devices which each person was issued with. Our driver Mathieu was brilliant in negotiating the tight turns which are a feature of the area.

Our trip was arranged via our hotel and I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone wanting to viait these sites. It is however a tiring day and the less mobile might wish to consider two separate half day trips to each site in turn.

We recently visited Sorrento, Italy and booked three(3) tours through Golden Tours: Pompeii & Vesuvius, the Isle of Capri and the Amalfi Coast (Select). We were very pleased with our experience on each tour. The guides were very knowlegeable, they were friendly and looked after our needs (including good and reasonable lunch spots). They were diligent in keeping track of our location, so as not to get lost. The transportation was comfortable and roomy. If ever in that area again, we would definitely book with Golden Tours.

We recently booked a full day tour from Sorrento to Pompeii and Vesuvius with Goldentours. Having looked at a few different companies to book the tour with we made our decision based on their good reviews.
The tour ran very smoothly, from the information received during the coach journey, to the tour itself. Fabio was our guide for Pompeii and he was great; informative and fun at the same time, making the tour very enjoyable.
The Vesuvius part of the tour was unguided, and you were free to make your own way up to the summit of the volcano at your own pace which was nice. At the top there are beautiful views across the Bay of Naples and out to Sorrento, and guides are available there to do informative walks if you wish to learn more.
All in all a very enjoyable day, we would book with Goldentours again!

Recently we planned a trip from Rome to Pompeii and then the Amalfi Coast followed by Naples for myself, my husband, our cousin and three young ladies in their twenties. Graziana Lotito worked with me (very patiently I might add) for weeks before our departure to put together the most magical trip for all of us! The highlight: a private boat tour around the entire island of Capri that all of us will never forget! She had wonderful suggestions, respected our budget, was very knowledgeable and extremely honest when her opinion really mattered.

As four friends on holiday, we wanted to do a couple of trips around Sorrento with a driver. Manuela Mauro was most helpful and we had 2 excellent, well organised day trips.
The first trip was a drive down the Amalfi Coast stopping in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. We wish we had more time in a Ravelllo. Our driver was a good, safe driver called Salvatore who found us a lovely restaurant in Scala called Il Margherita.
Our second trip combined walking up Mount Vesuvius, wine tasting and a visit to Villa Oplontis.
Absolutely great day. The vineyard Cantine del Vesuvio was on the slopes of Vesuvius, in a fabulous setting and food and wine was great- Maurizio Russo produces Lacrima Christi wine and we had a case shipped home to the UK. Villa Oplontis is a must see sight - a really well preserved Roman mansion -adding to the sights of Pompeii and Herculsneum

Three elderly ladies were dreaming of a "last grand tour" on the Sorrento peninsula.They were lucky enough to contact Goldentours International through the good services of the Friends of Sorrento.
This is how we met marvellous and efficient Manuela who catered with solicitude to our every wish: the transfer from Napoli to our hotel with the elegant Luigi; our unforgettable trip to Paestum with the excellent and knowledgeable Marisa; Capri and mystical San Michele under the professional eye of Sandro and the wonderful private day-trip that Manuela arranged with soft-spoken and kind Gaetano.

I recently went to the Amalfi Coast for my honeymoon and wanted to surprise my new husband with a romantic evening. Graziana Lotito worked with my for weeks prior to the honeymoon to coordinate the perfect evening for us. My husband and I returned from a short break in Sorrento for my friends wedding
from 8th to 12th July I found Goldentours online before we left and booked a tour to Capri as a treat for my husband and I wedding anniversary the communication was excellent between myself and Manuela always considerate and attentive when the tour day came on 9th we were so excited and not at all let down as we were picked up from hotel on time with a lovely driver who took us to the ferry port to meet our tour guide Vincenzo or Vincent for the day such a pleasure to have a great guide with a good sense of humour and clear English he was lovely relaxed and had a lot of knowledge the tour was from 7am and we were returned to our hotel at 5pm best day ever we covered the whole of Capri with amazing sights stopping at different areas giving us ample time to have our own time as well. Loved it so much it made our day really special and we wills definitely use Goldentours again :)

We recently - 11 September - did a full day tour to Pompeii / Herculaneum with Ralph / Rolfo (?) as the guide.
May I compliment the entire Goldentours event as everything went absolutely smoothly and Ralph's very extensive knowledge really made the entire tour very interesting indeed.
The coach was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and arrived absolutely on time in spite of the narrow roads the driver had to navigate which he did very skillfully.
I can highly recommend Goldentours - it really was an outstanding day out!!!

I have just returned from a lovely holiday in Sorrento. Whilst there, on a friends reccommendation, I booked two excursions with Goldentours. The first was to Capri, that magical Island. I was well looked after by Vincenzo, the guide for the day. He was very informative,took us to places of interest as well as giving time for self-chosen activities. A very enjoyable day. The second excursion was a half-day one to Pompeii, with Raphale as our guide. Again he was very informative and it was great to visit the ruins again.
Thank you Golden Tours for organising the excursions and I will definately use your services again.

Before our 2 week holiday in Sorrento I booked 3 excursions with Golden Tours. Day in Rome, Pompeii/Vesuvius and Amalfi Drive. All 3 were fantastic and our guides, Michleen (spelling?), Pina and Luigi were great fun and full of information. I would have no hesitation in using again and would recommend them to anyone visiting Sorrento. Thanks very much!
